Fangenerator Industrial Group, having two independent workshops and equipped with specialized machines, and as a type-two knowledge-based company in the field of motor traction manufacturing, has the ability to manufacture all types of AC and DC traction motors used in the rail transport industry and mining trucks.

For the first time in the country, in 2004 and 2007, this industrial group produced the first 534 kW direct current motor traction and the first 425 kW alternating current motor traction by reverse engineering.

Fan Generator Industrial Group has so far produced hundreds of types of traction motors for Iran’s rail transport industries, including the railways and Mapna Rail Company. The high traction quality of the production engines through the use of new manufacturing methods and the updated insulation system and materials has resulted in a long service life of the products of this group in this sector.

In addition to manufacturing traction motors used in rail transport industries, this industrial group has the ability to manufacture wheel motors used in mining trucks. The construction of the first 590 kW engine in 2013 for installation in Blaz mining trucks is one of the achievements of this group.

DC D77/78 tractionmotor

Knowledge-based Fan generator industrial group is the first manufacturer of D77/D78 DC traction motors in Iran.In 2019 this group was recognized as the knowledge-based producer of this traction motor. This traction motor is used in GM and GE locomotives series.

SIEMENS alternating current motor traction

With the presence of the first alternating current rail fleet manufactured by Siemens in Germany, proceeded to reverse engineer a Siemens motor traction model, and in this process, was able to receive the necessary approvals from the relevant centers in 2009.

ALSTOM AC traction motor

After the presence of Siemens in the field of railways, Alstom also entered Iran with the arrival of 100 locomotives. By using the experience gained in the manufacturing of D77/78 and Siemens traction motors, Fangenerator Industrial Group did reverse engineering and built the first sample of this traction motor in 2007.
